Ember Media Manager - Revisited (Open Source VB.NET Project)
#16
Are you talking about the total duration of all movies because my run times are correct per movie ?
#17
Runtime for any particular movie from my info screen (pressing I)

Just installed fresh and imported only one movie, I have nfos for all my movies

With this:
<duration>79 mins</duration>

Doesn't work. If I add this:
<durationinseconds>4740</durationinseconds>

It works. As I said. Fresh XBMC install only one movie. If I rescrape from internet it's fixed but It changes titles and other data so that's not a solution
#18
Also, skin is confluence Big Grin
#19
Are you actually using ember because I don't have <duration>

My nfo's created by ember have

Code:
<runtime>157 min</runtime>

which gives me

#20
Yes I'm using ember...weird maybe my config was carried over from another version?
#21
I do have duration in stream details I missed that but I also have runtime which is grabbed from imdb but you need to have that selected under scraper fields or you can use the option "use duration for runtime" which will be more accurate but you right about duration tag not working now
#22
Still won't scrape posters or fanart from the movie db....

Scrapes everything else fine... Just no posters or fanart... Sad

Correction:
Under Settings / Movies
Select Scrapers - Data
On the right side under Meta Data uncheck Use Duration for Runtime

blow away the settings.xml file for EMM. highlight movie and ctrl+i to rescrape

For Movies, EMM scrapes the following
<runtime>97 mins</runtime> from scraper

<fileinfo>
<streamdetails>
<video>
<duration>97</duration> from the video file itself

Thanks that did it

I have a lil suggestion

Right now when you scrape fanart you can select one for fanart and the rest for extrathumbs. That's not correct it should be extrafanart. Is it possible to put an option for that?
#27
Also on frame extraction, an option to resize and crop would be epic...Maybe too complicated I'm using thumber right now. If modeled like thumber it would be perfect

You can leave "Use Duration for Runtime" checked all that does is add the duration value to the runtime tag instead of using the scraped runtime from imdb this is more accurate say for PAL releases as they are speeded up to 25fps so the runtime is different, duration is extracted from the media itself so is always accurate

What makes you say that it's not correct?

It is my understanding that the skins that support ekstra fanart are looking for a "extrathumbs" folder.

Some look for extrathumbs, some look for extrafanart....
