Anyone know how I can normalize the audio for my videos? Batch normalizing would be the best or an add on that does this in real time. It is very apparent on my music channel. Videos are at different audio levels and kind of annoying.
Thanks and keep up the good work!
In windows 7, there is a setting you can select to do your normalizing for you and works quite well. If you click on the speaker icon down on the right hand side, select your output, in my case "Realtek Digital output", then select "properties" then "Enhancements", then check "Loudness Equalization". That should do it.
I tried Jason's normalization app and found that it would take a few nanoseconds for it to kick in when the volume changed, especially to a louder pitch, and would quite often startle us at the initial volume level of whatever action or talking was happening. The windows 7 thing takes care of that problem though.
