Check if filesystem is FAT, there's a 4GB limit on that. NTFS should fix it fine.

The server is a Windows 2008 using NTFS.
The file is already on the disk (so it could not be FAT(32)).

some more information might be useful.

ISOs of what? DVDs? Blurays?
What version of XBMC?
How are you networked? Wireless/cable? Speed?
In what way do they not play? Refuse to start? Stutter? Black screen? Error message?

sorry forgot

Bluray ISOs and using XBMC Live 10.0 (dharma).
XBMC is connected by wire on 100 mbit.
The ISO refuses to start (the busy icon right below is not showing either).

Also the option play on right click on the folder or iso is not available / showing.

Are you sure it's a Blu-Ray ISO? 8GB is extremely small for a Blu-Ray backup unless you recompressed the video.

In any case, XBMC Live currently does not support Blu-Ray ISOs, however this features works in the latest development builds of XBMC, but you will need to compile that yourself.

Any idea when the latest builds will be final and that we can use it without to compile it first.? Smile

You could always use makemkv + the plugin to watch them until it is officially supported.

But any idea when the release will be of XBMC with Blu-Ray ISOs support (and not to compile it by ourself ?)
