yeah, but win deinterlacing with dxva is not working Sad

i tested some sample files in linux sdtv, hdtv 1080i and all played very nice 50fps
with vdapu enabled ... so my hope is that this would be a nice combo Wink

so lets see what time will bring Wink

Margro, Thanks for the latest build, updated today and all is working, Is there any way to set the tv channel order to that in Media portal ?

Hi, also can confirm that it works so far, problems with deinterlacing and
bad pic quality on live tv but this seems to be hardware related.
(ion2 no proper drivers i guess, SDTV 50fps but still not smooth, HDTV 720p 50fps jerky, HDTV 1080i 25fps jerky)

thanks for the update

I have a strange problem:

Last week I installed the opdenkamp version on a XBMCfreak Lucid live version.
TV worked great with streaming and everything. Only yesterday I did a reinstall of the system and now streaming doesn't work and gives me an error.
Te Windows versions still works so I'm really confused.

I have a pasted log, so I hope anyone can help me.

this looks like a problem with the (configuration of the) backend. did you install and configure the cam on the backend (probably acamd)?

edit: didn't read the "it works on windows" part. then I suspect that it is some bug in the add-on itself.

The problem is that a recent code refactor commit (git rev 9c696e532a67da80eef548a387632950a4383613, dd 19-03-2011) from Dushmaniac broke the stream playback of the MediaPortal (ffmpeg) addon at the XBMC side (live TV using the PVR stream_url field is broken now).
It is not a bug in the addon itself. XBMC currently does not ask the addon at all to start the Live stream.

Yesterday, I finally found the exact problem. I'm currently working on a fix...
The current solution: use a version from before 19-03-2011.

Alright thats understandable.
Then my next question is: How can I install an older version on the Live version.
Is there a linux command that makes that possible, cuz I'm a huge noob on Linux.

sorry :-) I could have a look at fixing it, but I can't test it as I don't have an mptv backend around.

@Djang:
you'll have to build xbmc from source or use another ppa than mine, as I only got the new one on there.

No problem Wink. I've fixed the problem already on my machine. Next step is to to fetch all your recent changes, rebase the fix and test it. Something for tomorrow...

I've fixed the issue in my github repo. So, if you want, you can compile my master branch...

Although Live TV is working again, some other things are still broken (e.g. channel icons) and/or untested for all recent changes like setting timers and the time offsets (for EPG and timers).
