Are you having the issue where it wont discover any wireless access points, and wont connect even if its plugged in?

sounds like your network is borked.

Thats an APIPA address, which means either your DHCP server isnt handing out addresses properly, or something else is wrong.

OMG... you will never guess what happened...
I use a WRT54G as a hub and disabled the routing function on it.. but it must have gone bad because it started routing new ips... bypassed it and it is working fine again
