Chuchmi I am having that exact problem on my iPhone Xbmc app and it won't connect to my Galaxy Nexus or my Xoom. I have XBMC running on a different computer and they all work fine. I have spent countless hours trying to figure this out. I have changed the port to a different number then the other computer and that didn't work either. If someone can please help!

I had this problem with one of my instances. The solution was so simple/obvious, that it's embarrassing to admit.
Double check your Port settings. I had started using port 8080 for XBMC in my ubuntu laptop and on my android remote... but when I downloaded the windows app (v.11) it suggested port 80. That was the conflict. I changed it to 8080, and it's all good.

That worked! I gave up and I thought I tried 8080 several times and maybe I had something else wrong. Thank you and I love XBMC again. Lol
