Hi,

there's something impossible to reproduce as it is so random.
When playing mostly mkv/x264 movies, they run well for some minutes and then the player seeks for an obvious reason
this is really annoying and makes xbmc unusable for me

the only thing found in the log when it happens is

XBMC thinks that you're pressing the . key.
Which input devices do you have connected?

just a noname PS/2 keyboard and a serial RealMagic Hollywood+ receiver in COM1
no mouse

Maybe the keyboard is just broken? Should be easy to test, simply unplug it.

i replaced the keyboard with an other one and after some testing, it seems that there's no problem anymore
