Hi!
I think it is the best section here for my question.
As I have now a working setup using XBMV-PVR with TVHeadend, i want to sort my channels by an external app.
The channel sorting in XBMC is not so friendly for alot of TV channels.
Is there a way to bring the TV channels in a personal sort order?
If yes, how?
Or do I need to make it through TVHeadend's setup?
And how do I bring TVHeadend to map the Radio channels?
Many thanks

the most user friendly at the moment within xbmc is the channel manager (settings -> livetv -> channel manager).
if you're an advanced user, then you could use sqlite to change the database files (~/.xbmc/userdata/Database/MyTV4.db)
Radio channels aren't mapped automatically by tvheadend. Add them manually in the tvheadend gui.

Found a problem with PVR? Report it on Trac, under "PVR - core components". Please attach the full debug log.

I'm trying to use channel manager on beta2.
so I sort a channels as I like, the one on top gets #1
then I go into live-tv and the #1 channel stays in same place, not on top but far down the list.

Easy to fix in tvheadend websettings! Just change/ add numbers in tvheadend channels 1,2,3,4.... put a number infront of all channels and sort them, then tell xbmc to use backend orders.
