I would like to install XBMC on Natty 11.04.

There are no builds under the PPA:

What is the suggested method for installing XBMC on Ubuntu Natty 11.04?

I've been pouring through forums and still haven't found anything. Weird part is that there ARE natty repositories up

but i guess lights are off. I do want to install xbmc on 11.04 as well. I hope the HD2000 in my Sandy Bridge 2500 works alright. we'll find out.

Try replacing Distribution to maverick in your software sources, under other software tab. By editing http://ppa.launchpad.net/team-xbmc/ppa/ubuntu sources. Worked for me. I'm just having issue with video card reverting back to normal resolution once I close XMBC.

I Submitted a bug report and was told that they have not truly posted natty files yet. I did the natty to maverick switch in the sources and it has worked for me without issue.

If you find your remote control repeating commands on natty, follow these instructions. Worked for me.

Edit the sources in /etc/apt/sources.list.d/

Worked great, just edited the sources (replaced natty with maverick). Thanks for the tip!
