Probably a stupid question, but the reason I ask is that I built the library using XBMC initially, then tried Media Companion and now settled on Ember but for some movies I have 3 or 4 posters in the showcase view. Do I need to disable anything in XBMC and also how do I clear out the library and just get EMM to populate all the movie info etc?

If your movie folders have relevant .nfo data then XBMC will pick that up rather than scraping for new content. Have you tried cleaning the library?

You need to clean out the library first ...
some variation of:
Settings/ System/ Video/ Library/ clean library....
Then, you'll probably still have some duplicates.
If so, just do a search for .nfo files, and delete them all.
Then, do Ember again, have it create .nfo files.....
Clean library again...and that should take care of it.
(The above is a generalized procedure designed to account for all sort of Whack a Mole craziness going on in your library as designed by the Whack a Mole Virus writer*.
