I'm running an old Ubuntu 8.10 and would like to install XBMC instead of Elisa.
Now you ask yourself the question: Why not update the Ubuntu and then just install.
Answer: I have a EETI eGalaxy 4 wire resistive touch screen attached to an Asus Aspire One build into a cherrytree box (my stereo). I have tried to install the touch stuff in Meego 1.1 (where XMBC works fine), but it has been impossible for me to make the touch stuff work under Meego 1.1.
So please guide me to where to download an old version of XBMC that runs under Ubuntu 8.10 (and how to install it)
