No USB sound with Dharma
#1
Hi,
I've finally got Dharma to install on my Revo 3600 by removing the USB to SPDIF converter.

I've searched the forums for information on how to get it working without success so far!

The Revo will not boot with it connected and when connected post boot it locks up the PC.

Does anyone else use this interface (See link to picture) and does anyone know how I can get it working, I assume it's something to do with the Linux OS (XBMC Live).

Any help will be appreciated.

Hi,
Same exact problem here but with an Acer Veriton N and a USB DAC Superpro 707.
Everything works fine with an another external USB soundcard (M-Audio FastTrack).
Anyway the DAC works fine on the same PC with xbmc on top of a full ubuntu 10.10 32 bit desktop install, so I guess the problem is in the underlying minimal ubuntu install that xbmc live sits on.
Maybe something to do with alsa or pulseaudio...
I'd really like to use xbmc live because of that "set top box" feel...
Any help would be appreciated.

P.S. Sorry for my bad English.
