I've been looking at quiet or silent HTPC's. The main reccomendations are builds based on ION which seem to have max processors as dual core 1.8ghz.

Any here from the UK running the programs listed in the title in 1080p?

Have you had any issues?

Cant comment on the others as i dont use them, but iplayer works fine on both my single core atom (ion1) and my dual core atom (ion2) (assuming you are using hardware acceleration).

Iplayer, Skyplayer and that ESPNplayerthingy are working fine for me in HD.
