Sorry for such a simple, and probably answered question, but what should I use, and how can I stream from my new Mac to XBMC on the ATV2? Not used to OSX, and the lack of SMB streaming support kills me.

( I did search! Just very briskly. )

try Tversity it works for me via UNP good and I am on PC Windows 7

Well, one it's not streaming. Video streaming suggests something else. Two, Macs do support SMB file sharing.

System Preferences > Sharing > Click on File Sharing (check the box for it to be on) and then click on Optionns

In options there will be another checkbox to enable SMB file sharing.

Yeah, I know, I know. It's file sharing. But because I question the competency of some people, I prefer to dumb it down. I spend too much time with idiots that the I forget the Internet is a whole new world.
