Will XBMC cover it?
I''ve looked at some different HTPC software for Linux (among others MythTV), but I found it much less user friendly in its interface than XBMC, so would prefer to use XBMC, if it fulfill my needs and demands as following...

I havn't builded the HTPC yet, but it will be (so far), as stand-alone HTPC, running with Ubuntu 10.10 (or 10.04) minimal.
Since its a stand-alone and the only HTPC so far in my home, it ofc. have to handle both back/front-end.

Functions that I want my XBMC HTPC to do:
- Record live TV
- Show DVB-C tv via the Tv tuner
- Store recordings on a NAS
- Able to show Bluray movies (disc and as files)
- Nice to have: Webbrowser (optional)

Does XBMC fulfill those functions? And is it standard or do I need any special configurations / addons, and if so, please links to the plugins/addons.

Hope you can help me out here, so I can get done and select the XBMC if it fits into my demands.

I want to have everything integrated into XBMC, so I don't have to switch between several programs depending on what I want to. In other words, everything runs in XBMC (which is very wife friendly to use, hehe)
