I just updated my system and got version 10.1 of XBMC (had 10.0 before) and that's also where my sound started to not work as it should.
Now I only get sound when there's a 5.1 sound in the movie (DTS or 5.1 DD), but when I try to stream from youtube och watch a video with 2ch sound there's complete silence, also the "moving around in the menus"-sound is gone.
My settings for the sound is this:
Audio output - Optical/Coax
Speaker Configuration - 5.1
Boost volume level - Checked
- Dolby Digital (AC3) capable receiver - Checked
- DTS capable receiver - Checked
Audio output device - Defaults
Passthrough output device - iec958
This is the settings I had before the update also. I'm sending my sound through an optical to my Z5500 system.
Any idea of what can have happened?
