Custom Case for 3D Movie ISOs...
#1
Using the T!svn...

All my .iso movies are 3d Blu-Ray movies which I would like to have a case with 3D on it to emphasize it, the gold set case would be fine till I get a tru 3d style one. But running into a problem here, all the 3D iso movies are shown with the dvd case... if I were to go into the .nfo files of each 3d movie what could I add there manually and add to the View-slide.xml (my view) to get it to show a specific case for 3D iso movies? I am willing to "invent" a resolution tag setting that isn't real if it will differentiate the edited nfo files for the 3D.iso movies from the rest. Thanks! Smile

you can't invent custom resolutions, as xbmc only excepts these values:
480
540
576
720
1080

so i don't think there's an easy solution to this...
except for re-coding the entire slide view, to make it look for a '3d' tag in the filename or something...

How about as a default? For instance, it it doesn't see any resolution at all, then display a certain case. Or if I don't use one of those resolutions at all, maybe I could use it as a flag?

that's what it currently does in fanart view, and in the near future in all the other views as well.
if no resolution is found, it will show the gold case.

Yes, I see it did work well in fanart view. Is there a way to copy over the coding to the slide view to make it work there also? Thanks. For sets I have them turned off in advanced settings for movies listings view and just put sets on the home page so I don't need the gold case on the regular movie listings. Thanks by the way. Your skin is actually TOO good. Smile Every time I decide to try another skin, I have to go back to transparency for the bells and whistles and the general look and feel.

sure, and i'll do that in time.

if you want to have a go at it yourself, be my guest ;-)
can't help you with what needs to be changed as it's too much to mention, i'm afraid
