Was wondering what the max file size that is supported or works. I have a 15 gb mkv file that doesn't play. It plays for a second and stops and keeps doing that. Smaller file sizes seem to work better. Is there any way of getting this to play?

I believe that the problem is not directly related to size (unless you have network problems). It has to do with the video bitrate.

To a certain extent, it also has allot to do with the encoding option specified, I've ripped my Avatar BD using the slow profile in x264, encoding with CRF set at 21 and uncropped 16:9 aspect ratio so full 1920x1080 resolution, file came out at 7.2gb and it drops frames like crazy, I'll be testing other profiles till i find one that works...
