all my parts are ordered and coming in by friday.

looking for links in ripping bluray collections. i will be doing 720p and 1080p, depending on the movie/tv show. also, like the video, depending on the bluray disc in question, i will be ripping in either dolby digital/dts or in the HD formats.

for example, a TV show like mad men, i don't need to rip in 1080p or HD audio, but the latest Star Trek movie, I am going to want to rip in 1080P with full HD audio.

yes i am prepared to purchase any software needed. from what i understand, anydvd hd is the 'best' available, and if needed will purchase.

I use DVDFab 8 to rip my Blu-rays. Works great!

+1 for DVDFab as well. Will rip bluray with all the bells and whistles but can also rip and encode to maximize HDD space.

How is the playback in XBMC when using DVDFab? Is there any additional software needed? Does it rip out previews, and unneeded options(like Spanish DD 2.0)?

I take it you guys are using DVDfab ripper bluray?

How often do they update? I heard anydvd is the best for updating?
