How come I cannot connect to my WIFI N SSID's ?

When I "iwlist wlan0 scan" I only see my a/b/g SSID's not the N.

I'm running XBMC live on a Zotac ZBOX HD-ND22 which has N wifi.
Actually I have 2 identical HD-ND22 at home. One with Windows 7 64bit which connects to my N wifi with no probelms and then the installed XBMC live.

Is it a driver issue perhaps ?
If anyone needs additional info such as dumps of commands or log files please let me know.

Well...you haven't provided very much information.

How are you trying to connect?
What steps do you take to make the assumption it cant connect?
Are you using encryption?
What is the output from iwconfig?

How can I provide extra info if (as stated above) I cannot even see it in the SSID list when I do a scan. And no the SSID is not hidden
