Well I don't have the time to make a video, but here are some images that I prepared earlier.

The movie rating dialog looks the same but the 'rate show' button is hidden (obviously).

So that is what they look like now, but I'm working on some changes for 0.5.2 that will add more features to that dialog, so I'm in the process of reworking it at the moment; I'll add screenshots of that when we release 0.5.2 (unless I forget ).

Looks great. would love to see a video of this in action, even a phone camera video would be great.. Also does it have to end the show/movie completely for this to pop up? Or is there a limit of 80% to 90% of the movie watched then if you click on exit this would pop up? Since I dont want to sit thru the credit to rate the show at the end.

No you don't have to wait to the end, current it pops up if you watch the item for at least half of the time it goes for. Most people would call this half way, but you actually have to watch 45mins of a 1.5hr movie, it doesn't actually care what 45mins you watch, you could theoretically watch the same 1min 45 times .

At the moment it is quite arbitrary, its just the value I wrote in when I was implementing it, I'm open for suggestions (and justifications) for what the required percentage viewed should be, or do you want an option for it.

I would think the below two options would work
1. user able to chose what percentage you want the popup to start at 75% to 95%.
2. able to bring up in the context menu or movie information screen to be able to rate movies.

I have added a issue (feature) that should see the option included in v0.6.0

Afaik the person writing the skin has control over the information screen, so we (the plugin) have little or no ability to add a hook there, but I might consider at some point making it possible for a skinner to add such a hook to bring up a rating dialog, I believe it is the same for the context menu. We do plan to allow you to change ratings from within any item list in the plugin, so the watch-list, recommended list etc (maybe soon even a list of your collection). It would certainly be nice from a plugin developers point of view to be able to add items to the context menus in the library for instance, but alas what you don't do yourself often doesn't happen .

Hi,
I've installed trakt utility to try sync my movie and tv show's database, but the script says that doesn't have nothing to sync.

Anyone knows if the problem could be my "MySQL" database or would it be working anyway?

MySQL should work fine.
What versions are you trying? (xbmc, script)
You could enable debug mode for trakt utilities (in addon settings) and give me a log (pastebin.com).
Maybe I can see something there.

Ok, manromen would know this better that I do, but the limitation with tmdb and movies might be an xbmc thing we'll look into it issue #48.

I've created an issue with regard to the fact that the error wasn't handled correctly #47 but unfortunately there isn't enough information provided in the log to determine the actual cause of the error. Maybe manromen can make some suggestions here.

TheMovieDB is just fine. I use this too. However XBMC returns IMDB id's (whether you use tmdb or imdb).

You could try to delete your library and scan again (please export your library before you do that, you have a backup then and you're able to import library again if it don't helps).

For the other error ... are you using a recent nightly build ? It looks kinda you use a nightly build of before April 4, 2011 ...

Yeah this would be nice :-)
We could probably support some functions to get those kind of informations for skin developers (like tvtunes is called). But these features need to be supported (displayed) by the skins.
