Hi everyone
I've been a long time user of XBMC but I've just recently decided to install XBMC Live on my Acer 5920G because I don't use it anymore as I have a laptop from my job.
I've gotten everything set up as I want it, except for one thing: the CPU frequency is just too high for XBMC Live and it makes a lot of noise at max speeds. I've Googled a lot the last couple of days but no luck. I've tried everything from this link to no avail.
Can someone please help me out?
Edit: A colleague of mine recommended cpufrequtils. Then you can use cpufreq-set to change everything. Now I'm searching for a way to keep these settings on reboot.
