To be honest I really couldn't see any difference between the two, quality was excellent. None of the players had the Frank Lampard syndrome (look fat and podgy) which often happens when stretching video.

Just to explain the aspect ratio thing again. LiveOnlineFooty broadcast in 16:9. There seems to be an issue with XBMC, that it changes the aspect ratio to 4:3. So, if you change the aspect in the video options to 16:9, that is the correct aspect ratio. Picture won't be stretched out that horrible way Smile

I'm trying to figure out if there's a way for the plugin to default to the 16:9 aspect ratio Smile

Hi guys,
could you guys who are having connection problems (buffering) let us know what internet connection you have and how your set up, as i can honestly say i have not had more than 2 buffers per match on my acer revo r3610 using latest xbmc build and liveonlinefooty v1.3, although i am on a 10mb connection and currently get around 9mb?

mines:
10mb virgin media
hard wired from router to acer revo r3610
xbmc latest build
liveonlinefooty v1.3 connected to
42inch lg in
16:9 ratio

with no more than 2 buffers per match

Great plugin guys. Thanks for your hard work.

Can't say I've had many buffering issues. Maybe two or three small buffers per match so far.

I did get a crash when I accidently paused (and then resumed though).

Hi guys, working fine for video but no audio.

Zotac Zbox, latest version of xbmc livecd, hdmi->tv

All downloaded content works without a hitch.

Using this to watch the Tottenham Vs Spurs match, all except Channel 12 were buffering a lot on my ATV2. Currently watching Channel 12 of the match without problem (infact Arsenal have just scored!) and it looks nice a clean and very watchable on my 40" TV.

My internet connection is currently sat around 5mb.

Getting quite a bit of buffering second half... not sure if its my connection, the plugin or the stream to be honest. Below is my connection speed test.

Hmm, I watched the same match on Channel 12, it streamed fine all the way through using the plugin. I currently only have a 2MB/s connection, so your connection doesn't seem to be an issue.

From what device did you run that speed test? Is your ATV2 wired or wireless?

You're the 2nd guy reporting audio problems using the livecd version, I don't run it so don't have any way to check. At least reading around the forums, there do seem to be alot of problems with audio on the live versions. I'll read around and see what I can find, but I don't have a live version to test on.

Great Plugin guys, I'll sure give it a try!

There was a forum request for a NBA League Pass Plugin (it's like liveonlinefooty only for NBA Basketball).
Would it be possibble in any way to make your Plugin work for NBA League Pass?

Any way, keep up your good work!

I followed the instructions for the XBOX but when I go to settings to put in my username and password I get "Error Script Failed LiveOnlineFooty" in the bottom right corner. I'm using XBMC rev 30799. Maybe I need to update?

I'm a bit miffed because I've signed up for the £6 option and now can't use it! Thanks for any help though!

*edit* I found a file called "settings.xml" and put in my details. I could get a list of channels but now none of them will play. I get an:

"One or more items failed to play. Check the log file for details"

error message.

*edit 2* I got one to play but instead of Barcelona v Real Madrid as displayed I got the Pink Panther!! I think there's no footy on at the moment. I still can't get into the "settings" though. I keep getting the first error above!

Don't panic!!!
Go to video on the home screen, video plugins, then whatever you've called the footy plugin and click Title (presume you're using an xbox remote). Then 'plugin settings' and put your info in. Smile

Edit: And just confirm that works if you remember, please.

Firstly thanks for this plugin, it's working flawlessly on my xbox - not tried on the pc yet. I've pointed to this thread on xbmc4xboxsince it's so easy to put on the old black doorstop.
Thanks again!

I'm having the same problem with XBMC linux (Dharma latest version) on a dedicated Acer Revo 3600.

Audio has occasionally worked, but generally not.
I'd appreciate any pointers to resolve.

Debug log available (pastebin not working at the moment)

It works fine for me in XBMC (Windows).

Thanks,
finnil.
