a simple plugin to watch the live channels on seeon.tv

available in my repository https://github.com/downloads/t0mm0/t0mm0...-1.0.3.zip

xbox users install from the xbmc4xbox-addons repo via the SVN repo installer

enjoy!

edit: seeon.tv is now azwatch.tv, v0.2.0 updated to work with new domain

this was made in answer to a request so i don't know of any similar stuff.

if you find something you could always request it and see if some nice person makes it (or learn some python of course Wink)

Thank you for releasing such a great XBMC addon! This is definitely one of the best addons out there.

Is there a way I could configure the addon so that I could log in with my paid Seeon.tv account and display the private channels too?

Thanks!

t0mm0, thanks for a great add-on, I was wondering whether anyone was working on one for seeon.tv.

Not sure if this fits with those asking about the private channels, but there are other channels that are not listed on the main page that work without a login such as (some below I believe are already linked from the main page, and thus are already in the add-on):

Discovery http://www.seeon.tv/view/117/discovery
SyFy http://www.seeon.tv/view/158/Syfy
National Geographic http://www.seeon.tv/view/118/National_Geo
TBS http://www.seeon.tv/view/239/TBS_funny_channel
History http://www.seeon.tv/view/395/History_Guy
CBS http://www.seeon.tv/view/6802/
NBC http://www.seeon.tv/view/3809/

Any way of getting these to work with the add-on? So far it appears that only those showing up on the main site are included?

I'm sure there are plenty of other live channels under http://www.seeon.tv/view as well, some of which seem to come and go for special events, etc.... Not sure if there is any way to scrape these too?

Thanks again.

hmmm, i see what you mean. looks like they don't list everything under /channels which is what i scrape.

it is possible to play these channels as my plugin can resolve seeon.tv urls. in a .strm file put the following:
Code:
plugin://plugin.video.seeon.tv/?mode=play&id=http://www.seeon.tv/view/[CHANNEL]

for example, in discovery.strm i put:
Code:
plugin://plugin.video.seeon.tv/?mode=play&id=http://www.seeon.tv/view/117/discovery

and it plays fine.

if there is somewhere else that has a better list that i can scrape i could add that to the plugin?

thanks,

Hi! I'm not sure exactly how to add these extra channels. Do I create a new file? Is there a way to add channels via the plugin options?

Thanks!
