I'll have to leave that one to @popcornmix to answer! Update: Still doesn't work on #0619. Plays the first two seconds, even shows the visualization for a brief moment, then switches back to the usual GUI (I'm using Eminence) and audio playback is halted. In multi-device constellation, all players halt audio playback if the #0619 device is included in the list of devices to stream to. Same with #0615. Still, thanks for including the commits. I'm confident it will at some point get sorted out. After all, these are development builds, not official releases. I'll try to put a debug file up from my player when I have a bit more time - never extracted one from the Pi yet. Maybe this will give some insight what's going wrong. What are your device tree config.txt options? Sry, i should have been more specific, i also use the Digi+ on my Pi2. But as far as i know they use the same hardware (WM8804) and you also add the same dtoverlay (hifiberry-digi for both, see Configuring the sound card in OpenElec (5.0.2 or higher) with device-tree-overlays) to the config.txt. I think this problem will only ever get really resolved for output devices that support the full range of 3D resolutions and frame rates, like brand new 3D TVs and the like. My projector isn't just capable of receiving a full 1080p/60Hz FP video stream, only: Have you disabled full frame 3D modes in video/acceleration settings? Both kernels and Kodi builds work with the Hifiberry-Digi+ w/ Stereo and AC3/DTS passthrough. My projector isn't just capable of receiving a full 1080p/60Hz FP video stream, only: Yes, I'm on #0619: No hdmi_force_edid_3d=1 in config.txt Video -> Acceleration -> OMXPlayer = off Video -> Acceleration -> MMAL = on Video -> Acceleration -> Support MVC video (full frame 3D) = off Video -> Acceleration -> Use Full HD HDMI modes for 3D = grayed out and off Filenames are: R.I.P.D.3D.2013.1080p.BluRay.3D.HSBS.DTS.x264.mkv R.I.P.D.3D.2013.1080p.BluRay.3D.HTAB.DTS.x264.mkv Both files are 1920x1080@24fps with SBS/TAB directly encoded in the video. On start, Kodi asks for preferred 3D mode, no matter what I choose, I get the video in 2D (so it actually takes one half and stretches to fit the whole screen), and the GUI appears in SBS/TAB accordingly to the selection. Very frustrating. Correct link is: http://xbmclogs.com/pcqmu0htx its from 18:22 when I'm starting the movie Taken 3. Just after 2-3 seconds, the movie started buffering. About 20 seconds later, a new buffering. Memory used is about 680mb / 750, could that be a cause? I'm connected with wire gigabit cable (and router). |
