RE: [FORK] "PseudoTV Live" w/ LiveTV, InternetTV and added Strm Support - ylafont - 2014-01-05 Lunatixz, Quick question. What setup should be used for radio station streaming? I was trying to setup some of the sky fm streams which seem to be available in to different location. http://pub1.sky.fm/sky_80sdance and http://www.sky.fm/80sdance I used the following setup, but got nothing. <setting id="Channel_600_type" value="9" /> <setting id="Channel_600_1" value="5400" /> <setting id="Channel_600_2" value="http://pub1.sky.fm/sky_80sdance" /> <setting id="Channel_600_3" value="SKYFM" /> <setting id="Channel_600_4" value="SKY FM 80 Dance Mix" /> <setting id="Channel_600_rulecount" value="1" /> <setting id="Channel_600_changed" value="True" /> <setting id="Channel_600_time" value="0" /> <setting id="Channel_600_rule_1_id" value="1" /> <setting id="Channel_600_rule_1_opt_1" value="SKYFM 80 Dance Mix" /> Thanks, also, would the xbmc screen saver kick in? RE: [FORK] "PseudoTV Live" w/ LiveTV, InternetTV and added Strm Support - Lunatixz - 2014-01-05 ::Update:: Next push will have artwork in the "Coming Up:" notification box... with option for artwork type... The URl Snopper link worked as expected. thanks. RE: [FORK] "PseudoTV Live" w/ LiveTV, InternetTV and added Strm Support - Dumyat - 2014-01-05 (2014-01-04, 22:39)Dumyat Wrote:Update: The good news is that the screen freeze I was getting when dynamic artwork was enabled appears to have resolved itself. I currently use the Aeon Nox skin in XBMC and I tried reinstalling the skin to see if that would make any difference. And yes, it appears to have done the trick. Ran PTVL 5/6 times with DA enabled for several minutes at a time and didn't get any screen freeze issues like I was getting earlier. Don't know why, but who cares. That particular issue seems to have gone away.(2014-01-04, 22:24)Lunatixz Wrote:No, No, that's totally fine and totally understand your priorities with the project. I normally do a search of the thread first anyway to see if any other users have had the same issue, but couldn't see anybody else reporting this, so maybe thought it was unique to me, or possibly more likely something I may have been doing wrong.(2014-01-04, 22:07)Dumyat Wrote: Thanks Luna. Still getting issues with Posters and Logo's not being captured though, even with DA enabled. Sometimes it's one or the other and sometimes a combination of the two, ie no poster or logo. Did what you said for the log and enabled debugging again in PTVL and XBMC, but when I tried the uploader, it seemed to crash again, so don't know whats happening there. But I will try again 2nd update: Think I know what problem might be. Will check it out and let you know. Is it at a certain percentage of the video, or a set amount of time from the end of the video? Sorry I've seen it before just don't remember how far along the videos were. RE: [FORK] "PseudoTV Live" w/ LiveTV, InternetTV and added Strm Support - paulmd - 2014-01-05 I can't seem to get a YoutubeTV channel working from a YouTube playlist. Could someone possibly post an example of what a settings2.xml looks like with a functioning YoutubeTV playlist channel? RE: [FORK] "PseudoTV Live" w/ LiveTV, InternetTV and added Strm Support - ylafont - 2014-01-05 I began to make streams of the the local radio stations and began with 107.5 WBLS hear in NYC. After jumping through hoops I was able to to ascertain that this station feeds is provided by streamtheworld.com on a encrypted link. Using a few tools i was able to download a playlist file (WBLSFMAAC.PLS) with the following content. [playlist] File1=http://1721.live.streamtheworld.com:80/WBLSFMAAC_SC File2=http://1721.live.streamtheworld.com:3690/WBLSFMAAC_SC File3=http://1721.live.streamtheworld.com:443/WBLSFMAAC_SC Title1=WBLSFMAAC_SC Title2=WBLSFMAAC_SC-Bak Length1=-1 NumberOfEntries=3 Version=2 To make sure i had a a valid stream is used Snow Player (http://splayer.info) and the stream played as expected. I then created an entry . <setting id="Channel_550_type" value="9" /> <setting id="Channel_550_1" value="5400" /> <setting id="Channel_550_2" value="smb://192.168.1.2/home/xbmc/Media/Radio/WBLSFMAAC.pls" /> <setting id="Channel_550_3" value="WBLS 107.5" /> <setting id="Channel_550_4" value="NYC WBLS 107.5" /> <setting id="Channel_550_rulecount" value="1" /> <setting id="Channel_550_changed" value="False" /> <setting id="Channel_550_time" value="0" /> <setting id="Channel_550_rule_1_id" value="1" /> <setting id="Channel_550_rule_1_opt_1" value="NYC WBLS 107.5" /> But it did not work. Let me know. I gave up on the idea of adding artwork to the coming up notification box like a year ago, so that's awesome that you were able to make it work--I can't wait to try it! Also anyway to add music channels is huge for me, so If someone's actually able to get these streams working thats not as great as being able to add music genre channels based off of local content, but hey radio station streaming would at least be a great start.
