Thanks popcornmix, look forward to trying it out RE: OpenELEC Testbuilds for RaspberryPi Part 2 - blazinramirez - 2013-09-04 Hi all, Tried your version of frodo. The problem i'm still having is that i have a wi pi wich is working some times if i have lucky. I think it is a driver problem. Is there anything I can do to make it work again? Thx RE: OpenELEC Testbuilds for RaspberryPi Part 2 - soupboy - 2013-09-05 I've manage to narrow down the reason i can't boot with any Gotham builds. At boot i make i can get to xbmc spash screen but no further. I have full access with ssh and samba but cannot get it any further. The problem appears to lie in the database folder in the userdata. Removing this folder will allow the pi to boot first time and as long as i don't update/add anything to the library i can reboot fine. Not sure why frodo doesn't appear to have an issue with this? Tried with multiple Gotham builds and frodo builds and its only the Gotham that appears to have this issue. I've manage to narrow down the reason i can't boot with any Gotham builds. RE: OpenELEC Testbuilds for RaspberryPi Part 2 - popcornmix - 2013-09-05 @soupboy Gotham uses MyVideos76.db, and Frodo uses MyVideos75.db. It's possible MyVideos76.db is corrupt and is stopping booting. I'd suggest deleting it and rescanning. (If you delete it, I think it might convert MyVideos75.db to MyVideos76.db itsefl). Read here: http://forum.xbmc.org/showthread.php?tid=156320 Ignore Frodo, that will not be fixed. A number of issues with dirty rectangle processing have been fixed in Gotham. If you spot problems in Gotham (i.e. high CPU when screen appears to be static) then report here: http://forum.xbmc.org/showthread.php?tid=171784 Include screenshot with dirty rectangle visualisation enabled. RE: OpenELEC Testbuilds for RaspberryPi Part 2 - rbej - 2013-09-05 I think some omx patches or ffmpeg patches causing problem with Live TV. RE: OpenELEC Testbuilds for RaspberryPi Part 2 - Trickname - 2013-09-05 Live Tv working fine with kernel 3.10.8 -24.08- here. (2 sec) Newer not. Openelec testing 3.1.7 live Tv works, startup time 8 sec (all for my setup) RE: OpenELEC Testbuilds for RaspberryPi Part 2 - RichG - 2013-09-05 (2013-09-05, 17:17)popcornmix Wrote:(2013-09-03, 23:33)RichG Wrote: Apologies if this is a known / discussed issue ..... Live tv in OE 3.1.7 is rock solid ! Not as fast channel change as in last working Gotham, but no other issue (with live tv) RE: OpenELEC Testbuilds for RaspberryPi Part 2 - zoltan - 2013-09-05 Last rbej gotham build: I have problems during playback of this file: Code: Format : AVI It seems that the issue is with audio. The playback stops continously to recharge buffer... Any hints?
