In that case can you identify the last working build from these testbuilds - if LibreELEC 8.0 alpha 8 is working, it should be a build within the last 5-6 weeks.

@Milhouse, I have been redirected by garbear and lrusak (http://forum.kodi.tv/showthread.php?tid=173361), do your builds currently contain RetroPlayer?

The Kodi 18 test builds will include RetroPlayer. Some parts of RetroPlayer have now been merged into Kodi 18, but emulators and other binary addons are yet to be integrated into LibreELEC so there's not much to see at the moment. Keep an eye on the Kodi 18 test build thread for progress.

Thanks Milhouse. I assume I now need to follow this thread (http://forum.kodi.tv/showthread.php?tid=298461) and utilise this Custom Channel (http://milhouse.libreelec.tv/builds/master/RPi2/)?

Just to confirm also, do I continue using garbears builds builds here (http://lrusak.libreelec.tv/retroplayer/) until Kodi 18 is released with full RetroPlayer?

Yes. It's the same custom channel as before.

If you want RetroPlayer now, then use garbears builds.

RE: LibreELEC Testbuilds for RaspberryPi (Kodi 17.0) - tatec - 2016-12-04

I have the same problem as puschl.

With Libreelec Testbuild #1118 or higher, I cannot copy files via Windows Networkdrive(LAN) to my external HDD/USB Stick connected to an USB Port at my Raspberry Pi 3. (Filezilla works though)

It doesn't matter if my drive is NTFS or exFat. Both doesn't work.

All channels stops about in 30 seconds when using iptv backend, cant watch channels.

I experience the same thing....

debug log (wiki) and example URL?
Also you should be using a Kodi 18 test build and reporting in that thread. No more Milhouse builds for Kodi 17.

Does disabling "Enable Full HD HDMI modes for stereoscopic 3D" make a difference?

Can you clearly explain if the user interface remains in 3D mode, or just the TV?
i.e. if you disable 3D mode on the TV does the UI looks correct, or does it appear doubled?

debug log (wiki) ?

I'll try this tonight then get back to you, thanks.
DHYBT.

After stopping playback of a 3D movie the interface is still doubled up in 3D mode and the resolution is very low about half of what it's supposed to be , I'm just guessing this though.
I've tried adjusting all relevant settings the only thing that brings the interface back to the normal 2D mode is to adjust the screen resolution from 1920 X 1080 to DESKTOP . Then when it happens the next time reverse this resolution setting, all from within KODI. It's not very clear navigating the interface though when the screen is doubled in this way.
Switching off 3D from the LG remote fixes it, but then this seems to disable the auto 3D switching next time around.
It would be nice if the Milhouse version of Libreelec could be tweaked to make all this work. I'm selling my TV to my brother so I don't think he would be very impressed if he constantly had to fiddle with the resolution settings of KODI every time he wanted to play a 3D movie.
This must be a basic incompatibility with the software as PowerDVD 15 works OK in Windows without this resolution problem . My LG TV LF652V is using the latest firmware upgrade.
I'm getting a different model of TV soon I'll try KODI with that new TV.

RE: LibreELEC Testbuilds for RaspberryPi (Kodi 17.0) - Milhouse - 2016-12-06

No more Kodi 17 builds from me. If you still have bugs then continue testing the Kodi 18 builds, that's where development is focused now. Any fixes in Kodi 18 can be backported to Kodi 17, if appropriate.

There is a test config.txt option "hdmi_muting" which may help. Have a look here:

RE: LibreELEC Testbuilds for RaspberryPi (Kodi 17.0) - da-anda - 2016-12-06

it's also not a general RPI issue, as switching HDMI 3D modes is working just fine with my LG TV
