RE: LibreELEC Testbuilds for x86_64 (Kodi 18.0) - Milhouse - 2017-07-17 New LibreELEC.tv Leia build #0716: Generic (Supercedes previous build) Code: # uname -a Based on tip of LibreELEC.tv master (d8db9d5b, changelog) and tip of XBMC master (bfeb2e9d, changelog) with the following modifications:
RE: LibreELEC Testbuilds for x86_64 (Kodi 18.0) - kastormdz - 2017-07-17 Hello, I was using the kernel module lirc_xbox until build #0712. In the next builds (including #0716) I can't found the kernel module Has the linux kernel drop his support for this module? (lirc_xbox is the usb support for the original xbox ir receiver). Thanks in advance. RE: LibreELEC Testbuilds for x86_64 (Kodi 18.0) - Milhouse - 2017-07-17 Yes, LIRC support is changing in favour of in-kernel support, and we've disabled LIRC_STAGING in the latest builds which disables LIRC_XBOX support. As I understand it this is going to happen by default in 4.13. Not sure if there's anything that can be done to reverse this - maybe time to get a new IR receiver - 15 years isn't a bad run... RE: LibreELEC Testbuilds for x86_64 (Kodi 18.0) - Mister XY - 2017-07-17 Hello Milhouse, is it possible, that your inpustream did not accept other decrypter? I will use my Sky Ticket addon (https://www.kodinerds.net/index.php/Thread/57368-Sky-Ticket-Addon/?pageNo=4#post393896) and must use a decrypter. But InputStream Adaptive say it found no decrpyter ERROR: AddOnLog: InputStream Adaptive: No decrypter found for encrypted stream With oficial Version 8.0.2 it run very nice. RE: LibreELEC Testbuilds for x86_64 (Kodi 18.0) - Milhouse - 2017-07-17 Did you install the widevine decrypter library? I know Netflix and Amazon are working but I've no idea about Sky. A lot has changed between Kodi 17 in 8.0.2 and Kodi 18 in these builds. RE: LibreELEC Testbuilds for x86_64 (Kodi 18.0) - Mister XY - 2017-07-17 I make this https://www.kodinerds.net/index.php/Thread/51486-Kodi-17-Inputstream-HowTo-AddOns-f%C3%BCr-Kodi-17-ab-Beta-6-aktuelle-Git-builds-Updat/?postID=333953#post333953 RE: LibreELEC Testbuilds for x86_64 (Kodi 18.0) - Milhouse - 2017-07-17 (2017-07-17, 21:42)Mister XY Wrote: I make this I have no idea what those instructions relate to (they're seriously out of date for a start) but those instructions are not what you need to do to install the Widevine library and at least get Netflix and Amazon working with these test builds - just follow the instructions in Note #6 of the first post in this thread. Although now that you've already done weird things on your system I'd suggest you run "rm -fr /storage/.kodi/cdm" before following the instructions in Note #6. Alternatively, if you're following installation guides on Kodinerds then you should get your support from Kodinerds - I can only give you support for what is provided in this thread. RE: LibreELEC Testbuilds for x86_64 (Kodi 18.0) - Mister XY - 2017-07-17 Ok with your instruction it's run very nice. Thanks. I did not see your indruction before. RE: LibreELEC Testbuilds for x86_64 (Kodi 18.0) - Ontige - 2017-07-18 Hey, I`m using an Intel Apollo-Lake NUC in combination with a pulse-eight internal CEC adapter (firmware v7). CEC is working fine except the fact, that I can`t open the cec-settings under input-settings. Is this behavior known to somebody? If needed, i can help logfiles. Thanks in advance, Manuel RE: LibreELEC Testbuilds for x86_64 (Kodi 18.0) - rudrood - 2017-07-18 (2017-07-15, 11:35)qwerty0987654321 Wrote: Milhouse, (2017-07-15, 19:27)Milhouse Wrote: I'd rather not include patches that aren't pushed (ie. don't exist as a pull request - if you do that, then you can have a conversation with the developers about the fix), and I'm also not keen on patches that are hacks as that just results in even less support for these builds. @Milhouse, Sorry for the late reply, had some days off. Build 0714x fixes the problems for me. Can you tell me how to "progress with a pull request" as I found that trac tickets are not always working as I suspect (posted the same problem (https://trac.kodi.tv/ticket/17477) in May and no one responded). I asume you're very busy and I've no idea how much work is involved, but Is it possible to create just one more patched build now Libretro and Netflix are working for x86 and RPI2? Thanks! Feel free to apply patch and submit pull req. For that you'd need clone https://github.com/xbmc/xbmc repository and then clone your repo locally, apply patch to local repo, then push change to github and send pull request to https://github.com/xbmc/xbmc from there. RE: LibreELEC Testbuilds for x86_64 (Kodi 18.0) - illiac4 - 2017-07-18 Milhouse: Is Nvidia fix planed for the problem that you have also experienced (black screen when sync to display is selected)? TNX RE: LibreELEC Testbuilds for x86_64 (Kodi 18.0) - basco - 2017-07-18 Thanks Milhouse for this build. Been using it on one of my kodi boxes in my home for a couple of days now. Is it possible to use a normal keyboard to control emulated games? It does not seem to work...
