So I'm trying to get my wireless xbox 360 remote to work with xbmc. I already got the remote working with this:
http://tattiebogle.net/index.php/Project.../OsxDriver
I know its working since it this driver has a system pref's package which responds to the remote. But when I fire up xbmc, it doesn't respond at all.
I've found this thread:
http://forum.xbmc.org/showthread.php?tid=57132
Which I think is probably dated since it speaks about keymap.xml which was replaced by keyboard.xml in 10.1, see:
http://wiki.xbmc.org/?title=Keymap.xml
This wiki page refers only to windows and linux, but when looking into the package contents of xbmc in finder:
applications > xbmc (right click > show package contents) > Contents > Resources > XBMC > system
There is a keymap folder with many xml files, including a microsoft xbox 360 controller one.
There I tried replacing the keyboard.xml with the microsoft xbox 360 xml file. This did not work...kinda stuck here. Did anyone have any success with something like this? Being able to control with my wiress xbox remote would really seal the deal for my entertainment system. I'm really liking xbmc though, best in its class.
Thanks for any help,
Bill
