iv been reviewing all that needs to be done with this project and with currently i am the only person in the developement team so things are going hideosly slow at the moment. iv started coding the pc serving app part of the program, just out of curiosity though id like to see if anyone is interested at all in this feature so i give you the allmighty poll.

i'd love to see somebody get this going, jslawler has been working on a tv guide gui using xmltv for xbmc. like everyone else who has mentioned getting this going, i'd suggest talking with him, also you might want to run a search on these boards to get ahold of the other dev's who have mentioned an interest in getting something going. above all, i'd recommend adding support for pc apps such as mediaportal (originally based on xbmc), mythtv, and other popular pc based pvr apps. hopefully you'll be able to catch the interest of their current users so xbmc can benefit from an even wider audience.

for my opinion light daemon for tv-card would be nice. maybe web server integrated into it.

edit: for addion i have in my mind upnp style network for dvb-cards. this implementation would bring everery dvb card in same network available for every device, even if its used by vdr, dreambox, siemens m740, reelbox, xbmc or mediaportal
