Hi,
Using a PC with Displayport out - it does not have HDMI.
Would this work to enable CEC?

PC-> DisplayPort to HDMI cable -> Pulse Eight Adapter USB/HDMI -> HDMI Cable -> TV ?

Yes the cec signal is injected into the hdmi cable via the usb connection of the adaptor so it will work

Hi,

yes, it will work. However, one has to keep in mind that such a setup inserts another pair of connectors into the video cable. Pulse-Eight has tested the adapter to work at 4k@60Hz resolution with HDMI cable lengths up to 2m. If one needs to use longer HDMI cables at 4k@60Hz, video signal quality might be degraded.
