What do I have to do to let TMM find the real runtime of the videos?

I have activated "Prefer runtime from MediaInfo" now:

What do I have to do to let TMM exchange the current runtime (from a database, e.g. IMDB) with the real runtime of the videos files?

You answered yourself.

Sorry, I do not understand. Obviously I missed my answer. The runtimes of my movies are shown with the runtimes scraped from IMDB or another database, now I activated that option above: What do I have to do to let TMM exchange the current runtimes (from a database, e.g. IMDB) with the real runtime of the videos files?

tmm has the runtime from the scraper and the runtime from mediainfo internally;
by activating this setting, tmm just takes the other runtime for NFO writing/displaying in the UI

just make sure, mediainfo has analyzed all your movies
