Hi everybody,
I have replaced a "TIMbox" (official AndroidTV device) connected to an old LG tv and to an old Sony Home Theater (via optical cable) with a TCL tv C711 running AndroidTV 9.0 still connected via optical cable to my old Sony Theater (soon to be replaced by a soundbar).
At first I have just copied over the whole \Android\data\org.xbmc.kodi\files\.kodi from TIMbox to TCL (to avoid loosing my databases and reconfigure from scratch), I have just checked the basic config items to see if everything was correct.
Well, it look like this TCL tv isn't able to output more than 2 channels on the optical out: on the Home Theater I always get a stereo output with the surround speakers off!
I wonder if there are other TCL owners that can share their setup!
The log is here rateyibeju.kodi (paste), it looks the output is correct from Kodi...
