Hello, there..

This is my first post, and I feel a bit off leaping in asking for help, but I've got roughly half an hour a day to look at this (2 kids), so hopefully you'll forgive me

I've installed Atlantis on my XP SP3 PC, and it's all looking good, except for a couple of issues..

Firstly, when I try to rip to MP3, the GUI shows that it's attempting to rip the first track, saying it's at 100% and it just sits there.. The disc never spins up, and there it will sit unless I press ESC.

More importantly, when I play back some of my audio files, the first 1-2 seconds is missed out from the start.. I've checked the crossfade setting, and it's at 0.

The files play back absolutely fine on XMPlay, Winamp, Windows Media Player and on the 2 Creative Zen Sleeks that I tried them on..

It's not that it's a case of 1-2 seconds silence and then it kicks in, it's simply missing out the first 1-2 seconds.

My MP3 files seem to be OK, so I know I could either re-rip to MP3 or convert to MP3 but I'd sooner not have to as there's quite a few extracted from CDs up in the loft (space is tight in our house, so my CD collection is pretty much in boxes).

I can provide a copy of a couple of affected audio files if need be, if that would help any?

I'd really appreciate it if anyone could shed some light?
