Core avc and xbmc?

hi Developers,

do you have any experience with the Core avc 2 codec , and is it possible to include it into xbmc? People told me it had the best performance for hd files with windows.

Certainly not going to be included with xbmc, however if you want you could consider using the DSPlayer (Direct Show) branch. I'm sure CoreAVC could be set-up as a filter and used to decode HD material.

It works very well with DSPlayer using CUDA very efficient with the latest nvidia drivers however I don't think it would be of any benefit with the OPs system
