Genre Icons and Multilanguage
#1
Hi!

When I see the genre list a image related with the genre is shown. The problem is that my genres are obtained directly from film affinity (spanish) and the image is shown only if the genre name in spanish is the same that the genre name in english.

Example: "Drama" is said on the same way in english and in spanish so the image is shown but "Comedy" in spanish is said "Comedia" so the image is not shown.

Is there any place when I can map the english genre names to the spanish names or something like that?

Thanks in advance

there's no easy fix i'm afraid.
the genre names have to match the image names.

you could create this folder:
skin.transparency/media/foldericons/genre/videos
and put your own images in there (or download and rename the ones available in T! svn).

It works! Thank you!

A possible improvement for future versions would be to add genre names and other similar strings in the location files.

that should be done at xbmc level,
and frankly, i don't see how this would help in this case...
