Currently XBMC can only determine a video's source (BluRay, etc) from it's filename. It would be ideal to keep the filename matching but also add a field to the nfo.
The current method is a problem when a video is replaced with a version from a different source. Changing the filename would make a new library losing it's watched on date and sort order, also there are duplicates and missing files until a manual Clean is run.
As more users switch to a more automated process for content retrieval, this becomes more of a problem.
