Good morning everybody. Last night I was playing a 1080p mkv content on XBMC Live, and I noticed a sudden frame drop in a scene of the movie. After less than a second all returned back to normal.
I think that was because of a short bitrate peak of the movie (it was a complex scene), that caused the usb2 data flow to saturate.
Is there a method to verify this hypotesis? And if this is the real case, is there a buffer/cache setting to play with, in order to mitigate the effects of these transient peaks?
