Please add the ability to stop library scans via the JSON API. I would like to see a service that can run library scans only when the system is idle. Currently, we could make one to START the scan, but have no way to stop it. Also, please include a PAUSE/RESUME as well.
I make this request for those of us using lower powered systems, such as Android and RPi. Running a library scan will consume enough system resources, that it's not possible to perform playback of even SD-quality files.
Having the ability to PAUSE/RESUME a scan will allow the system to pick up where it left off instead of starting over, but I'll settle for just a STOP command if that can be implemented easily/quickly. Since stopping a scan is available from the context menu, I'd imagine it would be pretty easy to expose that function via the API.
