Hello and happy new year to XBMC team !
I've installed yesterday the 12.3 version of XBMC on 2 of my Mac :
- Mac Mini Late 2011 (i5 2.5Ghz / 16Go RAM + SSD)
- MacBook Pro Retina Late 2013 (Core i5 2.4Hz / 8Go RAM + SSD)
I've tested some samples of Hi10p anime :
http://www.koi-sama.net/files/hi10/
The first gave me some issues : [1080p][16_REF_L5.1][FLAC_5.1]Suzumiya Haruhi no Shoushitsu BD OP.mkv
(I didn't try with the MP3 version, but a lot of files ares using FLAC as audio track )
A lot of dropped frames (more than 800 at the end) on both systems. I've remuxed the file and deleting the audio track (FLAC 5.1) and it works on my Mac Book Pro retina (tested with the mac mini and it doesn't work very well but i think i've a problem with some video/audio parameters, it was late but it should work normaly).
But, the file is played nice (with FLAC 5.1 audio tracks, subtitles etc ...) with VLC 2.1.2 on BOTH systems (just 1 lost image).
So i think it's not a problem of horse power.
I've tried many things :
- VA Acceleration On/OFF
- Shaders : None, Basic, Advanced etc ...
- Sync Playback (Audio, Video/Drop, Video Resample)
Do you have a idea to solve this problem or a workaround ?
