It would be great if there were a way to pass custom cec-commands to the running system.
I use Openelec, but Openelec doesn't use a single pid for cec-client (i think xbmc/kodi generally), therefor xbmc.bin reserves the cec-hardware, and i'm not able to use cec-client to control anything before i stop xbmc.

Is there a file or any other way at the moment, to pass custom cec-commands to the running system without stopping xbmc?
