then most buffering issues i think. most people seem to encounter buffering over the internet, i store all my movies on an external hard drive which is wired into my computer by a usb 3.0 connection. i cannot get through a whole movie or even tv show without filling the cache and getting constant buffering. wife is not pleased i have played with the video cache but would this help if not streaming? i have not yet increased the cache to allow the whole movie to be loaded on the hdd, that is my last resort. any other advice? thanx in advance for the noob questions.

In Device Manager, is the drive Removal policy set for "Quick removal" or "Better performance"?

I have changed it to better performance. also tripled the amount of cache ram space. will watch tonite and report back.
