This is up to hbbtv to do the browser implementation, otherwise, there is nothing for Kodi to go on.

Hi, @otinley,

THANKS.

Would HbbTV's Developer Support help?

Btw., DVBViewer even supports MHEG-5, another hybrid interactive standard. It's a one-man-show (Christian Hackbart) development, I guess.  Nod

@otinley,

this attitude most likely is the reason why open-source community projects rarely make it to the Mainstream. Linux was a marginal issue until the arrival and before the inputs of the more market-minded Canonical and Google.

Android TV is installed on most smart TVs (which themselves are a major thing). Ubuntu is on servers, desktops, etc.

Where are projects such as Kodi, Debian, etc.? They keep explaining the users that they didn't need what they're asking for. Then they (sometimes) serve as the bases for successful commercial projects earning nice Money.

THAT'S IT.

Howgh!

Is there any way to access hbbtv from tvheadend? Kodi does not support it, is there any other way? Browser?

Note that hbbtv is not only simple html page, it also includes additional vod and live streaming content for example.
