Hi. I have Emby server running on nas. The NAS has shows. I use Kodi (connected to TV) to stream from NAS. I have Emby addon installed, to sync shows. When I use a laptop to stream from Emby server, with shows on my NAS, the .ass subtitles work. When I stream from kodi, the .ass subtitles don't work. It says no subtitles found. I've tried this on several shows, can't get .ass subs to work on Kodi.
