Lifehacker has been covering XBMC a lot these days. I thought I'd give it a whirl. I used to have it on my old hacked XBOX, but moved on.

I just realized that I have a MBP w/ 2GB ram and a blown battery. Perhaps the perfect option. My only thought is what OS should I run it on...

OSX would be easy, but perhaps plugins are more limited as the community is smaller than PC or Linux.

Just curious... my only requirement is the use of the apple remote for navigation.
