I no longer have the option to view, or add a source for TV shows. I have not changed any settings to my knowledge. I went to watch a TV show and the link was just no longer there under Videos. I do have the option to view my Movies. Also, when I put movies in the Movie folder that I use to view movies, not all work. MKV show up in my menu ready to view, but MPEG or AVI's no longer show. Would uninstalling XBMC and reinstalling it be the quickest and easiest solution?

It sounds like you are in Library mode. Go into "Movies" and use the left arrow on the ATV remote. Unselect Library Mode, and see if you see all your files, and the option to add sources.

RosevilleHT thanks! That's exactly what was wrong. I have no idea how I managed to put it in that mode, but it was really annoying.

Ned I will definitely go to that forum page first from now on when asking for help.
