Watch movies fullscreen on ATV2
#1
Hi,
I stream my movies from a NAS, most of them are .m4v, some .mov. When I stream them to my 720P-tv they seem to be displayed in their native resolution, 640 x something, and I cannot get the ATV2 to show them fullscreen. Even the zoom-option of my tv is inactive.
Is this an issue to XBMC or do I have to live with the loss of half the screen space?
Thanks.

My best guess at this problem is that you probably have the "view mode" set to "original" in video settings. To change this during playback bring up the video settings menu by pressing and holding the OK button on your remote. Then select the video settings button from the OSD. Change the "view mode" setting until you find one that you're happy with. You can set this as the new default from within the video settings menu as well

Thanks procrastinator! I thought I needed to buy a universal remote to be able to access that menu. I just bought a new TV for my bedroom and was peeved that I couldn't get the videos to play full screen. Made my day!
