i have tried it with the video table too. it seems kodi makes an ongoing numbering. for example: i delete "mymusic55" kodi doesn´t find it and creates "mymusic56" and so on...
Downgraded to 15.2 works perfekt with client and server. i observed by downgrading kodi to 15.2 kodi creates "mymusic52" database. i am wondering that the myvideos database doesn´t make trouble either in 15.2 nor in 16.

here is the log from 15.2 downgraded.

Thanks for the logs that Martijn requested, unfortunately it still shows no more than your initial log post, at least I'm not getting anything more from it. Perhaps Martijn can?

It sounded like you deleted all MyMusicNN files from the server, not what I had intended. But Jarvis then recreated MyMusic56.db on the server, and yet failed to access the Version table (according to the log). So current state is that Jarvis crashes, and the server has a MyMusic56.db file, is that correct?

Or have you reverted to 15.2 again? Or are we getting local files in the Win7 machine not the NAS drive?

Exactly jarvis creates a myMusic56 table in the database on the server and then it crashes. after that the database has a mymusic56 table but Jarvis still crashes with the log that i posted. if i get back to Isengard at this point everything works fine...
At the moment i am switching between Jarvis and Isengard... for new suggestions or requests i install jarvis, otherwise i use isengard because jarvis crashes and it´s impossible to use it.

If your already on mymusic56 it shouldn't try to update?
So can you dump us the database and create a trac ticket?

after creating the database kodi crashes at startup (see log).
by this time the mymusic56 database is empty but nevertheless i can give it to you if you want it. where can i create a trac ticket?
