yet another wonderful idea to expand xbmc's media capabilities! of course if links makes it in then we'de have a choice! hooray for democracy!

awesome idea, swf has been been a missing feature or both xbmp and xbmc... would love to see some functionality!

given that ffmpeg supports it, it should already be possible.. (depends a little on when it was added to ffmpeg). mplayer uses ffmpeg to play the codec, i suppose it might have some problems demuxing it thou.

i tested local playback of that file mentioned earlier, and that works, its a ffmpeg flash video
but http streaming does not work elupus

i think it would be great if you could put intergrate a flash player so we could watch flash animations and play flash games

Has there been any changes as to whether or not flv is supported by XBMC. If so how do I add the codecs and extensions? thanks
